Softball Game Preview: Toppenish Wildcats vs. Quincy Jackrabbits

Toppenish is on a 13-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Quincy a six-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Toppenish Wildcats will welcome the Quincy Jackrabbits at 3:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Toppenish fell victim to Ephrata and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 20-0 to the Tigers.

Toppenish saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tayen Grover, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Quincy also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against East Valley on Friday, falling 21-0.

Quincy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Toppenish, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.
