Basketball Recap: Cody Comes Up Short

Cody was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 72-43 loss at the hands of the Davis Aerospace Tech Aviators. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aviators apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

It was another big night for Cord'E Theus, who posted 33 points for Davis Aerospace Tech. The team also got some help courtesy of Myron Dean, who earned 19 points.

Cody's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Davis Aerospace Tech, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Cody does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Davis Aerospace Tech, they will square off against Michigan School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
