Izzy Davis Game Report: vs Pleasant Grove

Cosumnes Oaks had to settle for second on Wednesday, but Izzy Davis sure wasn't going down easily. Davis tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. The performance also marked the fewest walks (two) he has had since back in April of 2024.

Even though Davis couldn't lead Cosumnes Oaks over Pleasant Grove, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Davis' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Wolfpack's four-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Davis and the Wolfpack surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Friday's match.
