Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Cara Hill and Camden Nelson Lead Thornwell to Victory

Thornwell saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Edisto Cougars by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Saints.

Thornwell never let Edisto on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23.

Leading Thornwell to victory were Camden Nelson and Cara Hill. Nelson had five aces, while Hill had six aces. Those six aces gave Hill a new career-high.

Thornwell's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coincidentally, Thornwell and Edisto will both be playing Mid-Carolina the next time they take the court. The Saints will host the Rebels at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
