It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Warrior Run can now relate to. They fell 7-2 to the Hughesville Spartans on Friday. The Defenders' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Griffen Harrington was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Gavin Getz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run.
