Conner and St. Henry are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Cougars will challenge the Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Conner will be strutting in after a win while St. Henry will be coming in after a loss.

Conner's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Lloyd Memorial 15-0. That looming 15-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cougars yet this season.

Grayson Wagner was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Braydon Yuenger, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Conner always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .630. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lloyd Memorial only posted an OBP of .308.

Covington Catholic hit St. Henry with a eight-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Crusaders came up short against the Colonels, falling 11-0. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The victory made it two in a row for Conner and bumps their season record up to 18-14. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for St. Henry, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-22.

Conner was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Henry in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, winning 6-2. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
