Softball Recap: Annapolis Panthers vs. North County Knights

Annapolis extended their losing streak to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 2-9. They came up short against the North County Knights, falling 17-0. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 15-0 to the Knights when the teams met back in March of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave Stitt a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

In other batting news, North County got a massive performance out of Reese Butler, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Alexis Garrison was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double.
