One thing working in Harrells Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 matchups.
In what's become a running theme this season, Harrells Christian Academy gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Oakwood 76-12 at home. While fans of Harrells Christian Academy might be used to big wins, the 64-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Harrells Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Antonio McKoy, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. McKoy has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Kerr-Vance Academy lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Wednesday was a bit more commanding. They were outmatched by Fayetteville Academy on the road and fell 118-41. While losing is never fun, Kerr-Vance Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 616th, while the Eagles are ranked 49th).
Harrells Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. As for Kerr-Vance Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-17.
Everything came up roses for Harrells Christian Academy against the Spartans in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 90-39 win. With Harrells Christian Academy ahead 52-13 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
