Morenci beats Thatcher for their fourth straight win

Even though The Morenci Wildcats have not done well against the Thatcher Eagles recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Morenci came out on top against Thatcher by a score of 21-14. Winning may never get old, but Morenci sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Morenci's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Thatcher, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morenci will take on Benjamin Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Benjamin Franklin is ranked 74th, while Morenci is ranked 65th). As for Thatcher, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Florence at 7:00 p.m.
