Basketball Recap: Scotts Hill Lions vs. Perry County Vikings
Scotts Hill lost a close one when they played last Tuesday but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on Friday was a bit more commanding. They had to suffer through a 59-22 loss at the hands of the Perry County Vikings. The Lions lost against the Vikings in their previous head to head back in November of 2015, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 62-53 score last time.
Perry County found their leader in sophomore Landon Warren, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. Colton Pevahouse was another key player, going 5 for 10 en route to 13 points plus seven rebounds and two steals.
Scotts Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Perry County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Scotts Hill will face off against Chester County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Perry County, they and McEwen are set to duel on Monday.
