Basketball Recap: Immaculate Heart Central Comes Up Short

Immaculate Heart Central played a tough game on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 57-30 loss at the hands of the Indian River Wolves. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-14.

It was another big night for Keera LaLonde, who went 7-for-11 to rack up 21 points in addition to eight boards and seven assists for Indian River. What's more, LaLonde also posted a 71% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Allison LaMora, who went 5-for-11 on her way to 11 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Immaculate Heart Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Indian River, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Immaculate Heart Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Indian River, they will challenge Fayetteville-Manlius at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
