Fairview won the last time they faced Girard and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers' defense stepped up to hand the Yellowjackets a 3-0 shutout. Fairview might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by three goals or more this season.

Fairview's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Girard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairview will host Harbor Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Harbor Creek will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Fairview surely won't give up without a fight. As for Girard, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Fort LeBoeuf at 4:00 p.m.
