Westerly faced Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 win. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Westerly has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Westerly is set to challenge their familiar foe Central Falls at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Central will square off against rival Woonsocket at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
