Volleyball Recap: El Camino Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Jefferson on Tuesday, El Camino came back down to earth. The Colts took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mills Vikings on Thursday. The Colts were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

El Camino started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-13.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noelle Young, who had 12 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Young has posted since back in September.

El Camino's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Mills, they pushed their record up to 16-15 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. El Camino is set to square off against their familiar foe South San Francisco at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mills will face off against rival Capuchino at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
