Basketball Recap: Worthington Takes a Loss

Worthington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat. They lost 66-46 to the Luverne Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-51 back in January.

Worthington's loss dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Luverne, their win bumped their record up to 5-19.

Worthington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 77-55 defeat against Belle Plaine on the 14th. As for Luverne, they have also already played their next match, a 66-41 loss against Fairmont on the 18th.
