Hernando Christian Academy has gone 9-1 against First Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Hernando Christian Academy Lions will host the First Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five losses in a row dating back to last season, Hernando Christian Academy turned things around against Real Life Christian Academy on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Raptors with a sharp 44-18 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Lions have posted since January 4th.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hernando Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kensington Claus, who posted 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Collins, who had six points and five steals.

Meanwhile, First Academy waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 44-34 victory over the Wildcats.

First Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Hernando Christian Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
