Softball Game Preview: Western Indians vs. Eastern Eagles

The Western Indians will venture away from home to take on the Eastern Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Western and seven for Eastern.

Western managed to slip by North Adams the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians lost 21-1 to the Green Devils on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Eastern came up short against Trimble on Monday, falling 14-1.

Eastern saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashlynn Thomas 2027, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.

Western's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Eastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.
