Basketball Recap: IDEA Judson College Prep Comes Up Short

IDEA Judson College Prep and San Antonio S.T.E.A.M. Academy squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but IDEA Judson College Prep had to settle for second. They were dealt a 100-46 defeat at the hands of the San Antonio S.T.E.A.M. Academy Pirates. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-21.

It was another big night for Ryan Hayes, who went 13 for 27 on his way to 35 points along with six steals and five rebounds for San Antonio S.T.E.A.M. Academy. The contest was Hayes' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Keymonte Jenkins was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine boards.

IDEA Judson College Prep is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for San Antonio S.T.E.A.M. Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.

As of now, neither IDEA Judson College Prep nor San Antonio S.T.E.A.M. Academy have any future games scheduled.
