Central Columbia is 8-2 against Mount Carmel since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bluejays will venture away from home to square off against the RED TORNADOES at 4:30 p.m. Mount Carmel took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Central Columbia, who comes in off a win.

Central Columbia was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Midd-West on Monday. The Bluejays put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 17-8 win. The game was the first time the Bluejays have beaten the Mustangs on their field since April 29, 2022.

Meanwhile, Mount Carmel fell victim to Danville and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Ironmen, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the RED TORNADOES' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mount Carmel's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1-1 and their overall record down to 9-3-1. As for Central Columbia, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.

Central Columbia couldn't quite finish off Mount Carmel when the teams last played on April 11th and fell 4-2. Can the Bluejays avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
