Softball Recap: Mascoutah Indians vs. Civic Memorial Eagles
Mascoutah proved they can win big on Monday (they won by six) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Civic Memorial Eagles, sneaking past 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since April 11th.
Faith Moore spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.
