Basketball Recap: Stillwater Extends Winning Streak to Four

Stillwater proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 28) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Mounds View Mustangs 52-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Ponies have posted since January 26th.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Stillwater, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Mounds View, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-1.

Stillwater will welcome Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mounds View, they will venture away from home to square off against East Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in East Ridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
