Basketball Recap: Sanorra Mckind Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Turner County

Fitzgerald proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 36) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-50 win over the Turner County Titans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Purple Hurricane have posted since January 4th.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fitzgerald to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sanorra McKind, who posted 15 points. McKind continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kianti McDuffie, who scored 11 points.

Fitzgerald's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Turner County, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8.

As of now, neither Fitzgerald nor Turner County have any future games scheduled.
