Football Game Preview: Nansemond River vs. Lakeland

On Tuesday Lakeland take on Nansemond River at 6:00 PM. Lakeland will be looking to avenge the 20-23 loss they took the last time these two teams played.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-41, which was the final score in Lakeland's tilt against Indian River two weeks ago. Lakeland were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-20.

Meanwhile, Nansemond River were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They blew past Hickory 28-0.

Nansemond River's win lifted them to 2-1 while Lakeland's defeat dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Nansemond River's success rolls on or if Lakeland are able to steal their positive momentum.
