Basketball Recap: Happy Camp Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Happy Camp entered their matchup against Hayfork on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Happy Camp Indians were dealt a 65-29 loss at the hands of the Hayfork Timberjacks. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-34 back in January.

Hayfork was led to victory by Levi Cavalli and Anthony Bonelli. Cavalli posted 14 points along with eight assists and seven boards, while Bonelli dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. That's the most points Bonelli has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Caston Mela, who earned nine points.

Happy Camp's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-7. As for Hayfork, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Happy Camp has already played their next contest (against Surprise Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hayfork didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 94-21 win against Dunsmuir on the 30th.
