Volleyball Recap: Dedham Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Dedham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Norton Lancers. If the Marauders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Lancers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Dedham sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 16-25, 25-19, 27-29, 15-12.

Dedham's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Norton, they moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dedham is set to challenge their familiar foe Medfield at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Norton will take on rival Hopkinton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
