Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Sadie Satterfield and Emma Terlesky Lead Boardman to Victory

Boardman won the last time they faced Harding and things went their way on Thursday too. The Spartans put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Boardman was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-4.

Leading Boardman to victory were Emma Terlesky and Sadie Satterfield. Terlesky had 18 assists and three aces, while Satterfield had 11 digs and two assists. Those three aces gave Terlesky a new career-high. Addie Rudge also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Boardman was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harding only served three.

Boardman's record now sits at 10-5. As for Harding, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Boardman will venture away from home to square off against West Branch at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Harding, they will head out to challenge East at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
