It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but El Dorado ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Augusta Orioles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-8 on Monday.

The victory made it two in a row for El Dorado and bumps their season record up to 4-8. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Augusta, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. El Dorado will take on Rose Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Augusta, they will venture away from home to challenge Buhler at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
