Recap: Logan View/Scribner-Snyder vs. Arlington Eagles

After flying high against the Stanton Mustangs last Saturday, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder came back down to earth. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder fell 51-40 to Arlington on Tuesday. If Logan View/Scribner-Snyder hoped to take revenge for the 54-45 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.

When it comes to explaining why Logan View/Scribner-Snyder lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kolton Kriete. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Egbers, who scored nine points.

Trent Koger continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Arlington, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. Koger hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Dallin Franzluebbers, who scored eight points.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Arlington, they pushed their record up to 7-6 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder will take on Raymond Central at TBD on Thursday. Hopefully Raymond Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Saturday. As for Arlington, they will head out on the road to challenge Syracuse at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Syracuse is ranked 131st, while Arlington is ranked 136th).
