Volleyball Recap: Hamilton-Wenham Regional Triumphs

Hamilton-Wenham Regional was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies. For the Generals, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Reggies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional took Greater Lawrence Tech into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-19, 22-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Molly Bransford paced Hamilton-Wenham Regional's offense, picking up 13 kills. Bransford got some help from Addie Olson and her 34 assists. Abby Norris controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Greater Lawrence Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greater Lawrence Tech, they will welcome Montachusett RVT at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
