Soccer Recap: Forrest Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Forrest). They never let the Culleoka Warriors get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Thursday. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Culleoka from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal.

The win (which was Forrest's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three matches. As for Culleoka, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forrest will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Richland at 6:00 p.m. on April 1st. As for Culleoka, they are taking a road trip to take on Lawrence County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Culleoka has given up an average of 6.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
