Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Antioch). They really took it to the Grant Community Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-25 victory. The Sequoits have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 20 points or more this season.

Antioch got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Heidi Rathmann out in front who posted 16 points. Enza Nawrocki was another key player, putting up 13 points.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Grant Community, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Antioch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-22 defeat against Grayslake Central on the 17th. Grant Community has also already played their next game, a 39-37 loss against Johnsburg on the 14th.
