Basketball Recap: Trinity Collegiate Comes Up Short

Trinity Collegiate was the 64-58 winner over Heathwood Hall Episcopal when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Trinity Collegiate Titans fell to the Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders 48-42. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Highlanders are ranked 14th).

When it comes to explaining why Trinity Collegiate lost on Saturday, don't look at Kiauj ?KJ? Allen. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Evan Williams, who posted eight points.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kamauri Hunter led the charge by going 7 of 14 on his way to 21 points and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Nic Nichols, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds.
