Basketball Recap: Hannibal Takes a Loss

Hannibal was the 55-42 winner over Monroe City when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hannibal Pirates fell to the Monroe City Panthers 45-39. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hannibal's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Monroe City, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hannibal will face off against Quincy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Quincy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up.
