Axtell came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Blue Hill Bobcats by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 25-15, 25-15.

Emily Danburg paced Axtell's offense, picking up 15 kills. Danburg got some help from Madison Wells and her 34 assists. Danburg was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why Blue Hill lost, don't look at Kenna Mcconville. Despite the final result, she had 25 digs.

Axtell's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Blue Hill, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-16.

Axtell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Arapahoe on the 7th. As for Blue Hill, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against McCool Junction on the 4th.
