Baseball Recap: Macon County Extends Winning Streak to Five

Macon County came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs 15-1. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Hayes Polston made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Polston was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
