Softball Recap: Chief Sealth Extends Winning Streak to Three

Chief Sealth had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Franklin Quakers a 16-0 shutout. The Seahawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Quakers, too.

Chief Sealth's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Franklin, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Chief Sealth will challenge rival Cleveland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Franklin is set to square off against their familiar foe Ingraham at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
