Soccer Recap: Summit Takes a Loss

If Summit was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Glenwood Springs on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers lost 4-0 to the Golden Demons on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Summit can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while Golden are ranked 24th).

Summit's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-7-1. As for Golden, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4-1.

Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Golden, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Palmer on the 7th.
