Mapleton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the South Central Trojans 13-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-0 last Monday.

Mapleton's victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for South Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Mapleton and South Central are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Mounties will be playing at home against LaBrae at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Wynford at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
