Volleyball Recap: Cypress Christian Wins Going Away Against Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart

Cypress Christian barely beat Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The game marked the Warriors' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cypress Christian took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-12.

LILAH JOHNSON was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 20 assists and six digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024. RAQUEL HERNANDEZ-RODRIGUEZ was another key player, getting five digs and two aces.

Cypress Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They are a perfect 4-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

The win was the third in a row for Cypress Christian, bringing their record up to 6-4.
