Brandon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell to the Freedom Patriots 38-34. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Brandon's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Freedom, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.

Brandon will host Sumner at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Sumner will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Brandon surely won't give up without a fight. As for Freedom, they are taking a road trip to face off against King at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Freedom is facing King at the right time seeing as King is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
