Softball Recap: Jarrell Comes Up Short

Jarrell came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Salado Eagles, falling 13-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.

Jarrell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Berrios, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Jarrell has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19-2 record this season. As for Salado, they pushed their record up to 23-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

As of now, neither Jarrell nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
