Recap: Beta Academy Fighting Fish vs. School of the Woods Wildcats
On Tuesday, Beta Academy earned a 49-42 win over School of the Woods.
School of the Woods' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kieran Knight, who scored 14 points, and Tyler Gwinn who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The matchup was Knight's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Adam Zagaar was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
The win got Beta Academy back to even at 1-1. As for School of the Woods, they have yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 3-8 record.
Beta Academy will head out on the road to face off against Texas Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Texas Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for School of the Woods, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Banff at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
