Soccer Game Preview: Burbank vs. Crescenta Valley

Burbank is 0-9-1 against Crescenta Valley since January of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Burbank Bulldogs will host the Crescenta Valley Falcons at 7:00 p.m.

Burbank fell victim to Hoover and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tornados. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bulldogs came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Tornados are ranked 398th).

Meanwhile, Crescenta Valley waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 4-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won three contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Muir with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Solemon Alveno-Donofrio (2), Eric Davtyan, and Dylan Lee.

Burbank's loss dropped their record down to 11-3-3. As for Crescenta Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3-1.
