Volleyball Game Preview: Althoff Catholic Crusaders vs. Eureka Wildcats

The Althoff Catholic Crusaders will face off against the Eureka Wildcats at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Althoff Catholic has six straight victories, Eureka has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Althoff Catholic was able to grind out a solid win over Father McGivney Catholic, taking the game 2-0.

Althoff Catholic easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Eureka faced Lindbergh in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Flyers.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21, 25-18.

Eureka's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Althoff Catholic, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-3.
