Baseball Recap: Tulia Hornets vs. Dalhart Wolves
If Tulia was feeling good fresh off their 16-8 takedown of Childress last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets fell just short of the Dalhart Wolves by a score of 10-9 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-9 back in March.
Tulia got a massive performance out of Aiden Marquez, who went 3-for-4 with two triples and three runs. Marquez continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Roberto Martinez also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
