Marcellus is 1-9 against Cassopolis since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Marcellus Wildcats will get right back to it and host the Cassopolis Rangers at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
On Monday, Marcellus didn't have too much trouble with Martin as they won 60-43. The Wildcats pushed the score to 50-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Clippers cut but never quite recovered from.

Marcellus relied on the efforts of Abram Coffey, who went 8 of 12 en route to 21 points in addition to six boards and three steals, and Parker Adams, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Adams a new career-high in assists (seven). Beau Ferguson was another key player, putting up nine points.
Meanwhile, Cassopolis waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Colts by a score of 64-53.
Cassopolis' win came from a few key players Marcellus will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ayden Gillam, who posted 20 points and five boards. The match was his third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Pratt, who put up 16 points.
Marcellus' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9. As for Cassopolis, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Marcellus has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 28.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Cassopolis struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
