It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Broaddus had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 74-26 win over the Nueces Canyon Panthers. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 25 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Nueces Canyon's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Schreiner Meredith, who posted four points in addition to nine boards and four blocks, and Hannah Gomez, who scored no points. Meredith has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last three times she's played.

Broaddus has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 25 of their last 26 games, which provided a nice bump to their 32-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.8 points over those games. As for Nueces Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 29-6.

Coming up, Broaddus will face off against Brookeland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Brookeland comes in on 15 and Broaddus on 13. Nueces Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
