Baseball Recap: Ridgedale Takes a Loss

Ridgedale lost against Waynesfield-Goshen back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rockets fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. The Rockets just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Ridgedale saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Mawer, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Ridgedale's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgedale will challenge Mechanicsburg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, they will face off against Arcadia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
