Football Game Preview: Ocean View Seahawks vs. Estancia Eagles + How To Watch

The Ocean View Seahawks will challenge the Estancia Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Ocean View is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Calvary Chapel just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 43-21. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Seahawks have suffered since October 4, 2024.

Ocean View's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Zack Zentgraf, who gained 68 total yards and two touchdowns, and Dereon Oliney, who rushed for 98 yards on only six carries.

Meanwhile, Estancia entered their game against Los Amigos on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles fell 21-14 to the Lobos.

Ocean View will need to focus on slowing down Kai Bargas, one of several Estancia players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 179 yards and two touchdowns.

Estancia's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Ocean View, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Ocean View has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 182 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Estancia struggles in that department as they've been averaging 159.4 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Ocean View was dealt a bruising 40-0 defeat at the hands of Estancia in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Eagles' Sean Sweeney, who rushed for 68 yards and a pair of scores.
