Volleyball Game Preview: Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs vs. Wabasso Rabbits

Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart is 2-8 against Wabasso since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Mustangs will challenge the Rabbits at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Tuesday, Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart made easy work of Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, Wabasso hadn't done well against Redwood Valley recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Rabbits put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Rabbits not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).

Wabasso's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart, their victory bumped their record up to 16-1.

Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart skirted past Wabasso 3-2 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
